MAHAGENCO Announces Tender for 137 MW of Solar Projects in Maharashtra
The Maharashtra State Power Generation Corporation (MAHAGENCO) has recently released a tender notice, inviting online bids from prospective bidders for the deployment of 137 MW of a solar PV power project in three districts of Maharashtra. The project has been announced under solar agricultural feeder scheme.
Scope of Work
The scope of the 137MW solar project will include designing, manufacturing, engineering, testing, supply, and commissioning. The selected bidder will also be responsible for end to end maintenance of the project for the next five years from the date of officially signing the project.
As per the Notice Inviting Tenders (NIT), the project will be incorporated with 33 kV high-pressure overhead transmission line or underground cable upto the interconnection point.
Following are the district wise breakup distribution of the project:
- 52 MW solar project in the vicinity of four thermal power plant- Bhusawal, Koradi, Parli, and Nashik
- 60 MW solar project in Sindala, Latur District
- 25 MW solar project in Dhule District
Bid Submission Timeline
The pre-bidding will commence on August 14, 2019 for any concerns regarding the project from eligible bidders, while the last bid submission will be closed on September 9, 2019.
A few days ago, the Central Electronics Limited (CEL) had issued a tender in Maharashtra for 50 MW of grid-tied solar PV projects ranging from 500 kW to 10 MW at different places.
